About / Why DAPT exists
Standing atthe fridge,deciding nothing.
DAPT started with a familiar problem. Chicken, rice and broccoli in the fridge, twenty minutes spent working out what to make with them. The ingredients were there. The willingness was there. The decision was not.
The same thing happened with training. "I will go to the gym" turned into a debate about which gym, which program and how long. The answer was never more options. It was fewer decisions.
So DAPT does two things and refuses to do a third. It tells you what to cook from what you already have, and it tells you what to do with your body today. The bowls are photographed, the sauces are weighed, the workouts are timed, and none of it asks you to plan.
Five thingswe will not bend on.
- One decision per screen
- Every screen asks for exactly one choice. Pick ingredients. Pick a bowl. Pick a workout. We do not stack decisions.
- No planning required
- No meal plan, no weekly schedule, nothing to set up in advance. Open the app, tap, go.
- Bowls first
- One protein, one base, one or two veg and a sauce. The format adapts to almost any kitchen and the numbers stay honest.
- Nothing invented
- Every calorie and macro is computed from the ingredient registry. Every sauce is weighed. Every method step comes from the step library.
- Fast is a feature
- Install to first bowl in about a minute. Open to workout started in a few taps. If it feels fast, it is working.
Who is behind it
DAPT is Damon Allen's app. The bowl library, the sauce registry and the workout programming are his, built as a system first and an app second. The app does the arithmetic and gets out of the way.
